I would also say that if you compare ch.1 and these ch.2 monsters.

ch.1 was light and "cutesey" (or termed as "soft"/toony looking)

with ch.2 monsters (from the vid) its more dark and slightly a lvl of "disturbed" in its design of creatures. (I like it. )

Look at those masses of undead looking things @_@

From the look of the "summon ghostly hero" thing, I hope that most skills in chapter will have large visual effect like it. Been dying to see those sort of effects.

I had always enjoy making mobs feel "resident & evil-ed" with my mass summoning of the minions, I am sure there will be more evilness I can do soon =D

i dont think NE1 has noticed the new warrior armor i mean its friggin awesome!!!!!(it is warrior armor right?)

A brilliant trailer.

The reflections on the Jade Sea and the shear variety of new monsters was astounding to say the least.. did anyone else notice that crazy fractal turtle around 1:22? my guess is that it's either unfinished or some type of boss..

a lot of the fighting seems to be inside the city mentioned in Gamespot's article...

This is awesome!! The armors looks sweet (especially the new monk armors ), the weapons looks amazing and the new scenery is breath-taking.

I noticed that too and thought it was the only bad thing about the entire trailer. It looks so pretty!!! Hopefully that boss was unfinished although I'm surprised ANet let a bug into a trailer. All in all, I'm very excited *claps hands*

now decided "nae no fow armour" im gonna keep all my MANY hundreds of thousands to get all the new armour in factions for my chars and the new ones i make

Great. Enjoyed it all from the non-panoramic views (wish they were), to the aliens (the ones the warrior with the speculated sword resemble flood from Halo slightly...). Well, we thought the seers wanted the mursaat gone so they could move in...looks like they're actually calling their cousins in to wipe us out! Oh noes!

ehh little disappointed myself, not a fan of the over-gore-horror stuff
whats up with the one mob, huge stitched up balls of flesh on him?
another with bumps, a humanoid with a stomach maw, and another mob looking like a devourer? bleah. I like the '8 handed' mob we've seen screenshots of, the scenery and some of it there, but really I wasn't looking for a silent hill/resident evil/alienvspredator meets GW.

just gut reaction, not entirely negative here, but was hoping for a little more original thought and intruiging mobs then seen that/killed that in a fps/horror video game. as for having 'fuzzy' enemies before, I didn't find the forgotten, and particularly the mursaat and jade that way. dunno about you but I had respect for the mursaat the first time they levelled me w/o being infused

oh well I just hope we get some new sounds for mobs and effects too - anyone else almost burnt out on the same sounds across video games? I hope they put some time into it, I might even get into killing some of those mobs if they have some personality and their own sounds around them rather than continuing to use the same set of stuff. I just didn't really get into the lumpy mobs jumping up and down there, yet another bumpy mob, and oh look yeah, the token humanoid with jaws in its tummy.

on a side note right off the bat I guess we'll have assassin mobs and ritualist mobs to contend with as well as leveraging the new skills, wonder if they'll do any crossclass mobs too - guess we'll see
